General Information and Tips for Making Plans for IMLA's Annual Conference in Austin
Registration Forms for the Conference and for the October 20th Code Enforcement Program are now available. If you register for both, you will receive a discount on the Code Enforcement registration form. All forms are available on the top left of this page under "2012 Conference Quick Links."
The Annual Conference will occur from Sunday, October 21st - Wednesday, October 24th, 2012. Remember, there are other programs available on the day before, Saturday October 20th. These "add-on" programs (Code Enforcement AND the Institute for Local Government Lawyers) require you to fill out a separate registration form and a separate fee.
The IMLA Conference Room Rate is $199/night. Make your Hilton Austin reservations today by going to the IMLA-specific Hilton webpage. You can also call Hilton's Central Reservations number at 1-800-236-1592 and reference group code MLA to receive the special $199 room rate.
In order to secure this block of specially priced sleeping rooms and to keep meeting costs to a minimum, IMLA has entered into a total meeting package and contract with the Hilton Austin Hotel. If you choose to make your sleeping room reservations outside the IMLA group block, such as through an Internet reservation system or with a discount coupon, IMLA could suffer significant financial penalties. IMLA can be held financially responsible for the attrition or difference between what was promised in the group block and what was actually utilized.
