The Maryland State Bar Association, in partnership with IMLA, brings you the State & Local Government Law Institute on May 20, 2011. It's not too late to register. The MSBA and IMLA will be bringing some of the hottest state and local government law issues up for discussion at its annual institute. This year the Honorable Robert A. Zarnoch will discuss the new Administrative Mandamus rules. A panel of experts will talk about redistricting - what you need to know and what not knowing can mean to you. Speakers will present an appellate round-up featuring cases from the Supreme Court, Maryland and the 4th Circuit that affect state and local government law and practice. Another hot topic on the agenda is compliance with the Public Information Act.
Price of admission: $30 for Section and IMLA members, $40 to join the Section and attend the program, $50 for non-members. But don't wait - after May 13 each of those rates go up by $25.
